About Me
Hello, I am Jordan Weimer!
I was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I have a fantastic family made up of two loving parents, my father Darcy and my mother Kari, and an awesome older brother, Aaron. I have attended Medicine Hat schools from Kindergarten to Grade 12 (Ross Glen School, Alexandra Middle School, and Medicine Hat High School). I graduated from MHHS with honours in 2014 and began my Post-Secondary schooling at Medicine Hat College. In the fall of 2016, I transferred to the University of Lethbridge to complete my education degree, I am currently in my third year of post secondary education and look forward to continuing my journey in being an educator. During my fall semester of 2016, I was given the opportunity to study at Schuler School as I was completing my PS1 practicum there. For most of my life I have been heavily involved in many different activities. These being sports (volleyball and basketball), volunteering around my community, and being active in generating and encouraging school spirit in the schools I have attended. I coached volleyball at Medicine Hat High School for two years after I graduated high school and wish to continue my coaching career when I begin teaching. I like to be involved in drama activities, whether that is helping the kids with a show they are putting on, or encouraging performances in classroom activites, I love to see how creative the students can be when they are exposed to an environment that fosters the use of fine arts in everyday learning.
