The above examples highlight my ability to incorporate technology into different types of lessons that I taught. A lot of my lessons across a wide range of subjects utilize the use of a power point in order to focus the students attention, give them a visual to accompany the information their receiving, and using it as a tool to deliver content. The use of technology in my lecture also helps focus myself in my teaching, as I am able to show examples rather than try to explain them verbally. I found that in lessons that used a power point or other forms of technology, my students were more engaged than if there was no use of technology. As I continue into the rest of my career, I plan on staying up to date on technology that will help me grow as a professional, and technology that will act as a tool to use in the classroom.

For my inquiry based project, I had the students research the specific details of Aztec society as they relate to the elements of worldview. The students were to rank the elements of worldview in order of influence on the prosperity of Aztec society. Even though I gave them choice to do this assignment in multiple different ways, most of the students jumped at the chance to use technology and create their 'codex' electronically. I was very happy with their work, and they used technology to research, organize, and complete their work. The two links above are examples of those projects that the students completed using technology.
